EmpowHER: Women in Leadership & What It Means to be a Boss

Join the African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ & DE on Thursday, June 27 to hear from an exceptional panel of women on what it means to be a leader in their respective industry and for other women and girls. The discussion will touch on a few topics such as navigating barriers and the glass ceiling, how women can level up in their careers, the importance of knowing your worth, asking for a raise, and more.
 
This event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 27 at Archer Law, 1717 Arch Street, Suite 3500, Philadelphia. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Vernice Lewis, Senior Diverse Business Empowerment Manager for Exelon Corporation & AACC Board Member;
  • Iola Harper, Deputy Commerce Director for the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Economic Opportunity;
  • Michele Lawrence, Regional Director, Chase Private Clients and Chase Investments;
  • Tonya Ladipo, CEO, the Ladipo Group
  • April Walker, Director of the Philadelphia Microsoft Technology Center; and
  • Bridgett Battles, CEO of Bridgett Battles Enterprises.
