The 2020 Census, Urban League of Philadelphia , African-American Chamber of Commerce of PA, NJ, and DE, the Rho Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, the Philadelphia Alumni Chapter of Iota Phi Theta and the National Coalition of 100 Black Women along with host Rev. Dr. Lorina Marshall Blake invite you to the webinar Making Sense of the Census: Faith-Based Edition. We invite leaders from various faith-based communities and anyone in Philadelphia that wants to help ensure a complete and accurate count in 2020.
The purpose of the webinar is to educate, empower, and motivate households to complete the 2020 Census. The virtual webinar will discuss:
1. Understanding which specific neighborhoods and Census tracts have low response rates and how to change that
2. Dispel the myths and inform participants how the Census impacts everyday life
3. Hear from trusted messengers about how the Census impacts their business, work, and way of life
4. Learn strategies to mobilize communities to complete the Census.
Encourage your faith-based network to join us on May 27th. Space is limited so RSVP today!
