Security Manager

General Purpose:

The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing all security operations at the Cobbs Creek Golf Campus, ensuring the safety and protection of employees, guests, and property. This role manages access control systems, coordinates 24/7 campus security, and liaises with law enforcement and security vendors. Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee campus security operations, ensuring 24/7 coverage for all buildings, including the TGR Learning Lab, Clubhouse, Restaurant, and maintenance areas.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain and update emergency response plans, ensuring all staff are trained and understand their responsibilities in crisis situations.
  • Manage relationships with law enforcement, local agencies, and security contractors to enhance security measures.
  • Monitor and maintain access control systems, surveillance cameras, and other security technologies.
  • Ensure proper incident reporting and investigations of all security-related issues on campus.
  • Assist with budget management for security operations, including vendor contracts and security technologies.
  • Develop training programs for security personnel to enhance their skills in areas such as conflict resolution, emergency response, and customer service.
  • Maintain up-to-date records on security-related activities and incidents.

Education/Experience:

Associate degree or equivalent in criminal justice, security management, or a related field. Two to three years of security management experience. Prior law enforcement or military experience is an asset.

Physical Demands:

Frequently stands, walks, and sits; occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, and lifts up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

Works indoors and outdoors with occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.

Certificates/Licenses:

Relevant security management certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred. Familiarity with emergency response planning and access control systems.
