At the Cobbs Creek Foundation, we seek to create an all-inclusive, state-of-the-art golf and educational campus that provides opportunities for the diverse youth of Philadelphia.
Cobbs Creek Foundation is restoring this historic golf course that was originally built in 1916 and is the home course to Charlie Sifford the first African American to receive a PGA tour card. The revenue from this restored historic Philadelphia golf course will be invested into educational programming, community programming, and scholarships. This model will create exciting educational opportunities and increased revenue and tourism for the City – all while cultivating community cohesiveness.
CCF has partnered with Tiger Woods and selected the TGR Foundation as the educational partner to expand impact and enhance access to education and golf in Philadelphia through the new Cobbs Creek Campus. The Campus will support the community through innovative education programs and opportunities to empower local youth to discover and achieve their fullest potential.
